The Quad Cities is the largest metropolitan area on the upper Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis. With a population of more than 400,000, the Quad Cities rests on the banks of the mighty Mississippi and is made up of the riverfront cities of Moline/East Moline and Rock Island in Illinois, and Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa.
