Who is Quad Cities Sports Commission?

The Quad Cities Sports Commission is a private, not-for-profit organization whose main goal is to aid in the development of sporting activities and programs for youth and amateur sports in an attempt to create a positive economic impact in the Quad Cities community. The Quad Cities Sports Commission is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of local leaders with backgrounds in education, business, tourism, and sports.

Mission

To promote the quality of life in the Quad Cities through education and participation in youth and amateur sports which in turn have a positive impact on the community.

Purpose

Provide a wide range of first-class spectator, participant, and volunteer sporting activities for the Quad Cities community.

Present State

The Quad Cities Sports Commission is a 501 c 3 Organization that operates under the umbrella of the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau. A volunteer Board of Directors made up of representatives from Quad Cities businesses, the tourism industry, and sports industry advises the Commission.
